About Sarentic
Clarity. Confidence. Peace of mind.
Our mission
Sarentic helps Australian SMEs make international work travel easier to approve — with clear, destination-based decision support.
We translate complex destination risk into practical guidance: what you’re already relying on (existing controls), what to add or tighten (additional controls), and a clear basis to record the decision.
What we do
Sarentic delivers destination-based travel decision support for organisations without dedicated security teams:
Compass Briefs — practical traveller guidance for a destination (what matters, what to watch for, what to do differently).
Lighthouse Reports — an organisation-level approval posture for a destination, including a Compass Brief, plus a simple way to record the decision.
Looking ahead
Guardian Framework (not currently available) — a future governance layer for organisations with repeat travel, informed by the principles of ISO 31030 (guidance standard). Enquiries welcome, but not yet offered.
How we work
Travel risk can feel overwhelming — especially without an in-house security function. Sarentic bridges that gap with:
clear, practical destination insight (written for real-world use)
a calm tone that cuts through noise and alarmism
a repeatable approach that supports consistent travel approvals
We don’t do doom. We do decisions.
Our expertise
Sarentic draws on experience across protective security, operational law enforcement, and intelligence analysis. That background helps us convert complex, fast-changing realities into clear, usable guidance — without heavy frameworks or big-consulting overhead.
Who we serve
Sarentic is built for organisations that need practical travel decision support without the resources of a dedicated security team, including:
Australian SMEs operating in Southeast Asia (and nearby regions)
community organisations, associations, and representative teams travelling overseas
volunteer and not-for-profit groups supporting deployments offshore
directors, managers, and operations leads who carry approval responsibility
Whether your travel is occasional or repeat, we help you reduce avoidable exposure and make the approval decision clear.
Our values
The principles that shape how we advise, not just what we deliver.
Integrity
We provide objective, evidence-based guidance and communicate clearly about limits and assumptions.
Diligence
We approach each destination with care, discipline, and attention to detail — because sound decisions depend on good preparation.
Responsibility
We respect the weight of duty of care and aim to make travel approvals practical, defensible, and proportionate.
Respect
We treat clients and local contexts seriously, and work with professionalism and cultural awareness.
